Consultant Scientist (Bio-Chemistry)
Venkatesh Seshadri obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Madras in 1994 and his M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry in 1997. He was awarded his interdisciplinary Ph.D in Medical Biochemistry and Endocrinology at the University of Madras in 2005.
He worked as Assistant Professor at the Vellore Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2005 and then changed to the BioTech sector, working first as Life Scientist in Randox Diagnostics and from 2006 as Senior Scientist in Bhat Biotech India in the area of in-vitro diagnostics and point-of-care diagnostics. He then joined the Indian Institute of Science as Research Scientist in 2012.
His area of research includes biosensor and bioanalytes detection kit development in the field of biotechnology with a focus on affordable healthcare product development. His professional experience includes concept testing, assay development, product prototype development and validation, scaling up, commercialisation and tech transfer.
Alok Rawat, M.Des.
Technical Associate (Product Design)
Alok Singh Rawat received a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dehradun Institute of Technology, Dehradun and Master degree in Product Design and Manufacturing from the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing at the Indian Institute of Science.
His interests are sketching, product design and development, and form Modelling.
Prateek Jha, M.Sc.
Technical Associate (Mechatronics)
Prateek Jha earned his BTech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi and his M.Sc. (Engg) from the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science.
His current research interests include Flexible/stretchable electronics, robotics, computer aided design and manufacturing, and motion control systems.
She has over ten years of experience in business consulting and business analytics. Her last few years have been focused on scaling businesses in sectors of renewable energy and water. She is currently working as a Consultant at Robert Bosch Centre and helps to develop a market-friendly product to detect bacteria in water by partnering with industry players for product development and field testing. She also serves as Program Manager for the IoT for Smart City Task Force and is interfacing with Electronics City on designing a Smart City IoT test bed.
Project Assistant (Embedded Systems)
Rakshit Ramesh obtained his B.E. degree from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2016.
He has won the Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge 2015 and stood second in KPIT Sparkle Innovation Challenge 2016. He is interested in image processing, radar signal processing and mobile application development.
Siddhartha Ahnihotri, B.E.
Project Assistant (Robotics)
Siddhartha Ahnihotri received his B.E. from PES University, Bangalore in Telecommunication Engineering.
His research interests are drones, ground robots, computer vision and autonomous systems based on ROS. He is currently assigned to the CPS/Robotics lab and the research project on autonomous coordinated navigation of drones.
Shweta Kamath, M.Sc.

Shweta Kamath completed her M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Maharani’s Science College, Bangalore.
Her research interests include working on in vitro diagnostic kit development for the quantification of blood glucose. She is currently working on the development of a kit for water quality analysis

Sreedevi Raghunandan started her professional career as Administrative Assistant in the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1986 and worked with several esteemed faculty members of IISc. In 1998 she joined the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore and afterwards the Society for Innovation and Development, IISc. In 2000 she became Senior Administrative Executive in the Research and Development Centre of Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd, IISc & in Head Office, Ahmedabad. In 2010 she worked as Executive Head for the Medical Benefit Fund Unit, M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore and joined the Robert Bosch Centre in 2012.
Sreedevi Raghunandan performed administrative activities in various national and international conferences and workshops held in the departments of IISc, M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd and continuously grew as an Administrative Supervisor as a result of the collective working experiences.

Stefan Ipach received his M.A. in Political Science, Media Sciences, German Studies and Intercultural Business Communications at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena in 2008. After working at an event management company he returned to the university, first working as lecturer and editor at the Institute of Political Science and then as project manager at the Service Centre Research and Transfer, Entrepreneurship Department.
In 2010 he became Research Advisor at the Research Funding Department of the centre, responsible for the Faculties of Physics and Astronomy, Economics, and Law. His main tasks included: supporting researchers in applying for research grants in national, European and international research programmes as well as managing projects worth 30 million Euro per year, conducting workshops on proposal writing, scientific presentations and communication and information sessions on new developments in research policy and programmes, and to give strategic advise to the university management and for top institutes and departments.
During that time he also served as Peer Mentor for the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations in Brussels and as National Expert representing Germany to the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, working in the Department of Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Biotechnologies.
He left FSU Jena in October 2016 and joined the Robert Bosch Centre in November 2016.
Consultant Technologist (Software Engineering)
Swaminathan Vasanth Rajaraman received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Aalto University, Finland majoring in Mobile Computing (Services and Security). His thesis was based on optimization of LTE UE gateway for uplink video transmission.
He worked with Nomadic Labs, Ericsson Research, Finland and Data Communications Software Laboratory, Aalto University, Finland for three years on projects focusing on energy efficiency of LTE for IoT.
His interests are software product development on Android, Java and Java based platforms.

Subramani completed his B.Com. in Accounts from Seshadripuram College, Bangalore in 2005 and his MBA in Finance and Accounts from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune in 2008. He has been working at the Robert Bosch Centre for the last five years and recently took over the position of Program Manager for the IoT for Smart City Task Force at the Bosch Centre.
