Radhakrishna K. Rao received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1966 and his PhD on Active RC Filters from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 1971. K. R. K. Rao returned to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and served there as Professor of Electrical Engineering until 2006. After retiring, he joined Texas Instruments India as Head of Analog Training.
Darshak Vasavada received his M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1993. From 1994 to 2002, he worked in Motorola India Electronics Ltd. on various DSP and embedded multimedia projects. He has also conducted workshops in various organizations such as Philips, Motorola, Connexant, Sasken, Siemens, DRDO and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. from 2002 to 2011.
Darshak co-founded AllGo Embedded Systems in 2005, a company specialised in embedded multimedia systems, and STAMP Computers in 2012, a company focusing on tablet-based products and solutions for the Indian market.
Furthermore, he held several courses on Embedded System Design at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
